Broken affiliate link checker for creators

DealPage is a referral link tracker that checks every destination behind your short links each day and flags the ones that stop working.

How affiliate links break

Programs end, products are discontinued, stores move pages, and tracking domains change. None of these tells you. The first sign is usually a reader replying that the link does not work — if anyone bothers to.

Links in old posts are the most exposed, because you are no longer looking at them while they keep getting clicks from search and reposts.

What DealPage checks

Once a day on Pro, and whenever you press “Check now” on any plan, DealPage requests the final destination of every short link you have and records the result. A link that returns an error or times out is marked dead and appears in the needs-attention list on your dashboard, with a red marker in your links table.

You can also run the check on demand from the links page after changing something.

Fixing a dead link

Update the Deal's destination, or the individual link's override, and every short link you already posted goes to the new place. There is nothing to edit in the posts themselves.

On Pro, clicks on a dead destination go to your Deal page automatically; on the free tier you get the alert and make the change yourself.
