Answers to the questions creators ask while setting up their first deals. Each one says where to click. Not covered here? Write to Fuuqiu@gmail.com.
Getting started
How do I create my first deal?
Sign up, then choose New deal (the onboarding opens it for you). Fill in the product name, the destination link and your code, and save. The page goes live at deal.topxup.com/@yourhandle/deal-name, and you get five short links at once — one each for post, reply, DM, group and newsletter.
Which link do I paste into a post?
Paste the short link for that placement: Links & sources → Copy next to the link. Use the Post link in the main post, the Reply link in replies, the DM link in direct messages, and so on, so the clicks are counted per source. You can also share the deal page address directly; those visits count as direct.
Can I try it before signing up?
Yes. The home page has a “Try it now” form: type a product, a code and one line, and the phone next to it shows the real deal page. Nothing is saved until you create the free account; then the deal opens in the editor, filled in.
Codes and links
I changed my code. Do I have to edit my old posts?
No. Old posts carry the short link, not the code. Change the code or the destination in the deal editor and save; every existing short link and the deal page use the new one immediately.
What happens when a code runs out or expires?
Add backup codes in the deal editor (drag them to set the order). When the first code is used up or past its expiry date, the page and the short links switch to the next one by themselves. When every code is used up, the page shows a restock sign-up instead of a dead code. DealPage cannot see the brand's systems, so keep the Used count up to date in the editor, or mark a code as used up.
What does the dead-link check do?
It opens each destination link and records whether it still answers. On the free tier, run it from Links & sources → Check now. On Pro, every link is checked daily and clicks on a dead link go to your deal page instead of an error page. Dead links show up on the dashboard under Needs attention and as a red label in Links & sources.
Are bot clicks counted?
They are recorded but never counted: clicks that look like bots or link previews are kept apart and left out of every number in the dashboard and the report.
Reports and data
How do I show a brand what my code did?
Every deal has a brand report: four key numbers, the click curve with your post times marked, sources and top countries. On the free tier you can preview it while signed in. Sharing it as a public link is part of Pro, which opens soon; a shared link can be revoked at any time.
Why does the report say conversions are not connected?
DealPage counts clicks, but it cannot see sign-ups or purchases on the brand's side. Rather than estimate, the report says the number is not connected.
What happens to click data older than 7 days on the free tier?
It is kept. The free dashboard shows the last 7 days; Pro shows up to 365 days, including the history you already have.
Pixels and subscribers
How do I add my Meta Pixel or Google tag?
Settings & billing → Pixels & tags. Enter a Meta Pixel ID or a Google tag ID (G-…) and save. It loads on your deal pages and your creator page — not on short-link redirects. Clear the ID to remove it. Tell your audience that you use it, as the law where they live may require.
How do subscribers work?
Visitors leave their email on your deal page or on the restock form. They appear under Subscribers with the source that brought them, and you can export the list as CSV on every plan. DealPage does not send email yet, so use the CSV with your own email tool, within the consent they gave you. The free tier holds 50 subscribers, Pro 500, Agency unlimited.
Plans
What does the free tier include, and what do paid plans add?
Free: 3 active deals, 7 days of data, 50 subscribers, milestone badges, CSV export and a private report preview. Pro adds unlimited deals, 365 days of data, shareable brand reports, daily dead-link checks with fallback, routing by country and the yearly poster. Agency adds unlimited subscribers and 5 team seats.
Can I pay for Pro now?
Not yet — paid plans are coming soon. Email Fuuqiu@gmail.com to reserve Pro or Agency and you will hear first when they open. Until then the free tier is free forever.
Can I use my own domain?
Not yet. Every page lives on deal.topxup.com/@yourhandle, and those addresses keep working when custom domains arrive.
DealPage (deal.topxup.com) is run by WANG WENJIE, an independent developer. Questions about this page: Fuuqiu@gmail.com.
