invite code page
Invite code page for creators: one link for a limited invite
DealPage is a referral code landing page tool that puts each limited invite code on a page that shows how many invites are left and what to do when they are gone.
Why invite codes break posts
Invite codes for new apps are usually limited: a handful of uses per code, sometimes an expiry date. The post that shares them keeps circulating long after the invites are gone, and every late reader who tries the code hits an error.
Those late readers are not a small group. Reposts, quote posts and screenshots keep bringing people to an old code, and there is no way to correct all of them.
What an invite code page does differently
The post links to a page instead of containing the code. The page shows the current code, how many uses are left if you enter that number, and when it expires. When it is used up, the page shows the next code you have, or asks the reader to leave an email for the next batch.
Because the post never contained the code, it never becomes wrong. You update the page, and every place that links to it is correct again.
Setting it up in DealPage
Create a Deal for the app, add the invite codes you have with their quota and expiry, and order them by priority. Share the short link. DealPage serves the first code that is still active and moves on to the next one when it runs out.
When every code is used up, the page switches to a restock sign-up. You can see the list in your dashboard and export it as CSV when you get new invites to share.
Frequently asked
- What happens when all my invite codes are used up?
- The DealPage page stops showing a dead code and shows a sign-up form instead, so visitors can leave an email to hear about the next batch.
- Can I add more invite codes later?
- Yes. Add them to the same Deal and they are used in the priority order you set. Links you already posted keep working.
- Does DealPage email the people who signed up?
- No. DealPage collects the list and lets you export it as CSV; sending the message is up to you.
